Dumas beach is known for its black sand. Why is the sand black, you ask? Well…the ash of burnt dead bodies has mixed with the sand here to give it such a unique hue. During the day, this beach looks like any other beach. In the night, however, it becomes a beach out of a horror novel.
Even the local government has advised citizens against roaming the beach at night. If you love all things eerie, this might just be the place for you.

Gurez Valley is situated at a distance of 130 kilometres from Srinagar. It constitutes within itself landscapes, mountains, rivers, and every natural splendour you can think of.
