Started in 1986 by Subhash Chandra, Essel World had a new addition in 1998-The Water Kingdom which had several thrilling water rides. The addition of the discotheque, skating rink and the bowling alley contributed to making this amusement park one of its kind and even more fun. Open on all days, throughout the year, this park hosts around 2500 guests on weekdays and over 4000 guests on weekends.The best time to visit Essel World is between October and March. This amusement park can be easily reached by rail, followed by a ferry ride, as well as by road. With entry rates ranging from Rs.290 to Rs.690 for Essel world and Rs.390 to Rs.890 for a combined package of EsselWorld and Water Kingdom, this park is an adventurous and fun-filled outing for the entire family.
