Kerala Folklore Museum
Kerala Folklore Museum is located in Ernakulum in Cochin in the Thevara Ferry Road. It houses a broad spectrum of the historic and cultural antiques of South India. It has been built in a beautiful Kerala style architecture. Annie George had been collecting the antiques and the Museum reflects the hard work of the lady combined with the skilled labour of the 62 craftsmen who helped her to put together all the items. It is a three-storied building with the ground floor housing the antiques from Malabar, 1st floor has the traditional display of items form Kochi and the 2nd floor exhibits antiques from Travancore. The life of the ancestors can be experienced through the wide variety of items on display in the Museum. The items which beautify the galore are traditional jewellery pieces, art forms, musical instruments. Manuscripts representation medicinal and astrological data and findings, and much more, the traditional lock of Kerala is adorned at the door and the windows reflect the Malabar style of architecture,
