Kheerganga (also known as Kheer Ganga as the name suggests is Ganga River as white as the color of a Kheer (an Indian sweet dish that is made from rice and milk.) Its name Kheerganga is due to the milky water of the river that flow throughout its length and the streams that flow into the Parvati valley from every side of the mountains. Kheerganga is mostly a religious location at an altitude of 2960m within the Pin Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The valley has a stunning panorama of Parvati River as well as the Lahul-Spiti glaciers. To get to Kheerganga There are 2 paths that go through the tiny but beautiful village called Kalga and the second is through Nakthan as well as Rudranag village that has beautiful waterfalls as well as Shiva Temple en route.. The trail that runs across Nakthan and Rudranag village Kalga village is less crowded compared to the other route, but it’s treacherous slippery, treacherous, and risky and is ideal for people who love adventure and are looking to have thrills and excitement within just a few hours. Another route that passes along Shiva Temple. Shiva Temple is magical and provides breathtaking landscapes of flowers to tourists along the route.
