     Spread across 120 acres of prime, scenic landscape is the theme park known as Kishkinta. Its whimsical name is generated from the fabled simian kingdom in the epic tale of Ramayana and is perfect for its target audience of children. It is located near the Vandalur Railway Station in Chennai, India, a mere 13 km away from the south of the Anakaputhur, an ideal and tranquil spot.

    Kishkinta is owned and operated by Navodaya Appachan, the well known owner of the Navodaya Studio. The landscape of the park is dotted with bushes, fountains, decorations and designs that are guaranteed to be pleasing to the eyes and was specially designed to be so. Since its inception in August 1995, this park has been a favourite of thousands of tourists and locals alike. Children can go there for picnics and other pleasing entertainment and be enthralled by the attractions at Kishkinta. Some of the attractions provided here are Water Pools where the water moves in imitation of the waves of the sea, water rides, roller coasters and toy train rides.
