Wat Phra Chetuphon, more commonly known as Wat Pho, is a Buddhist temple located in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of the largest and oldest temples in Bangkok and is famous for its massive reclining Buddha statue, which measures 46 meters in length and 15 meters in height. The temple complex covers an area of approximately 80,000 square meters and contains numerous other structures, including chedis, stupas, and halls containing numerous Buddha images. Wat Pho is also considered to be the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, and visitors can receive massage treatments at the temple’s massage school. The temple is a popular tourist attraction and an important center of learning for traditional Thai medicine and massage.
