This house has a collection of different antique objects. These belong to Diwan Bahadur Radha Krishna Jalan.  R.K. Jalan lived between 1882 - 1954. He was a businessman. He was also an avid lover of art. He had a fetish for collecting different pieces of art.

    The Quila house has beautiful architecture. The building architecture has a combination of English and Dutch styles. The collection contains almost 10,000 objects. All these artefacts are mostly of the modern era. The collection contains artefacts made from glass, ivory, porcelain, metal, terracotta and stone. Part of the Quila house is the private residential property of the Jalan family. The remaining part is part of the Jalan Museum.
